Summer 2022 Golf Season Kick-Off!

Kick-Off of the Golf Season!

Rain or shine. With the first days of summer, Cochrane Toyota has taken the opportunity to be part of Major Golf Tournaments in Calgary. 

This is a great opportunity for our team to not only enjoy a beautiful day outdoors surrounded by sunshine and impressive views but most importantly to support a good cause and be part of a meaningful project that will contribute to the growth and development of our community.

This is how we have been actively present on the greens during June 2022.

Rocky Mountain Rotary Club Classic 

Was organized by the Young Professional Rotary Club of Cochrane at the beautiful Bearspaw Golf Club. All to raise money for important charitable causes within our community. All the raised contributions go towards reputable, local organizations meeting the acute needs of the citizens of the Bow Valley in the realms of food, housing, youth programs, community infrastructure, and all other community initiatives for wellbeing. 

Youth Unlimited Annual Golf Tournament 

Was hosted at the Bearspaw golf club again. 

Youth Unlimited is a community organization, dedicated to serving young people. Envisioning that they experience a community of hope in the Greater Calgary area. This golf tournament helps to raise funds that would provide resources for their efforts to positively transform this generation of youth through a wide range of teaching, training, relational, behavioural, and spiritual services to maximize their potential and to see transformed youth transforming this city so that their impact will continue to benefit the community as these youth become positive contributors members of our society.

Athletes in Action Golf Classic 

This time we went for a long drive to the impressive Heritage Pointe Golf Course, to support the Athletes in Action Canada, dedicated to developing the total athlete through the integration of faith, life, and sport. There is a strong belief that sport has the power to unite cultures, transcend values, and defy conventions. When words fail, a game can speak. We are glad to be part of their contribution to generating sportsmanship in our younger generations.

It was a great start to the season, we had 3 days interacting with the golfers and enjoying the outdoor breeze while proudly representing Cochrane Toyota, once again doing our best to Make Things Better.
